The immediate area offers bird watching, nature trails, fishing, walking, horse riding, rock climbing, canoeing, mountain biking, and there is a great old fashioned funfair theme park with lots of rides suitable for younger children (and no queuing!!) all in the beautiful river gorge 10 mins away and an international go-karting track..
